Catering means — Service for mode of eating and drinking, there are infinite possibilities in catering as a career, because everywhere may be it’s train, mail express, aeroplanes, hotel, canteen or government institution, there is a great need of catering. There is one year certificate course in “Catering and Food Craft”, then 2 and 3 years course in “Foodcraft” and Hotel Management”, 4 to 5 years course in “Bachelor of Foodcraft” or “Hotel Management and Catering Technology”. To get admission in these courses one has to go through written examination as well as interview. All the careers associated with catering gives adequate wealth and a safe future. There are many chances of promotions in this field. A person educated in catering can earn right from Rs. 5,000/- to Rs. 25,000/- per month.
