Once upon a time, there was a school for cartoon characters. Clark’s life in this school was terrible because he was just an ordinary comic character and an intelligent boy. On the other hand, his other classmates had something special. They were superheroes, great magicians, astronauts, fairies and space travellers. All these characters had unusual powers. This made Clark realise that he was just an ordinary person. Their adventures and abilities were so impressive that the world of cartoon characters appeared boring to them. They said, “What a pain this is! We always win here, but the villains are pathetic. We want real villains so that we may let them know about our real powers!” All this scared Clark. Clark knew how difficult it was to live in the real world. So, he was worried as to how these characters would face the real world. But his classmates got their way.
One morning, all the characters woke up in the real world. The characters realised that the real world was really dangerous. They felt it to be their duty to save the world. But as soon as they used their superpowers, they came to know that the real world was under some sort of spell. It appeared to be a terrible spell where everything appeared illogical and out of order.
It was impossible to move from one place to another. The characters could not even fly through the air. They were unable to use their laser vision. Neither their space weapons nor their magic spells worked in the real world. A little strike or knock was very painful. They were shocked. How would they save the world if their powers did not work? Suddenly, Clark appeared before them. The spell seemed to have no effect on Clark. His mind was working properly and he was as intelligent as before. At once, he understood what was happening.
Clark was not alone. There were many other comic characters who hadn’t lost their positive qualities. They were normal boys and girls who were happy, funny, creative, charming, hard-working and loving. They were same in the real world as in their comic world.
On the one hand, the classmates who were powerful wondered as to what happened to their powers and why they were not working. On the other hand, these simple comic heroes had put all their abilities into action. They wanted to save the real world from the present danger. The danger was that the real world was filled with the children who spent their days lazily doing nothing. The children expected to be given some magical power that would do all their work and solve their problems. The characters were successful in their mission.
