The CN Tower is a 553.33 metres tall communication and observation tower. The CN Tower is located in Ontario, Canada. This concrete Tower was built from 1973 to 1976.
Why it is special: The CN Tower is an iconic structure specific to Canada’s skyline. The name CN stood for Canadian National, the railway company that built the tower. One of the modern Seven Wonders of the World, the CN Tower remains the tallest freestanding structure in the western hemisphere. The Tower itself is made up of several structures including the main pod that only has a glass floor but also an amusement for thrill-seekers known as the Edge Walk.
