Daniel was a naughty boy and always troubled animals. “He pulls my cat’s tail and throws stones at Mr. Mulder’s helpless puppy,” Daniel’s neighbour complained to his mother. Tired of this, his mother warned Daniel to stop hurting animals but he ignored her. One day, Daniel saw a dog and smiled to himself. ‘I think a nice kick should do the trick,’ he thought and he kicked the dog hard. When the poor dog ran away yelping, Daniel started laughing loudly. A fairy was watching this and she became very angry. She wanted to teach Daniel a lesson. So, she waved her wand at Daniel from behind and uttered something funny. The next morning, Daniel realised that his feet looked strange. It so happened that every time he hurt an animal his feet would grow bigger. Daniel was so upset that he stopped troubling animals. Soon, day by day, his feet became normal again. He vowed never to hurt any animal again.
