One day, Sheikh Chilli was suffering from severe ear pain. He was unable to sleep properly, the whole night. His mother got worried and took him to a doctor. Sheikh was crying in pain. He asked the doctor if his ear was going to fall off. The doctor smiled and said, “I doubt if your ear would fall off, but let me check, anyway.” He then examined Sheikh’s ear and applied some medicine. Soon, Sheikh felt better. The doctor then asked, “Little boy, what if my ears fall off? Can you tell what will happen?” Sheikh replied immediately, “Yes Sir! After that you will not be able to hear or see.” The doctor wondered why it was so. Then Sheikh said, “Deaf, because your ears have fallen off, and blind because, after that you won’t be able to wear your spectacles any more.” The doctor smiled at Sheikh’s reasoning.
