Jason was a member of the bomb squad. In his career, he had seen almost every kind of explosive designed by man. One of the toughest bombs to diffuse was a hidden bomb in Afghanistan. One day, his unit was sent into a recently captured building. One of his officers stepped onto the upper level, and everyone stilled–they all heard a distinctive ‘click’. The officer had stepped on a hidden trigger! Jason and his team immediately set about trying to access the bomb, but it was almost impossible to locate where the bomb was! Meanwhile, the officer on the trigger could not move a muscle or the bomb would explode. After several tense moments, a soldier noticed a newly plastered section of wall. Carefully removing the bricks, they at last uncovered the time bomb, ticking away! Jason at once set about diffusing it, managing to do so just with a few seconds to spare!
