The Dom or Berlin Cathedral was built in Berlin, Germany, constructed in 1905. The Dom was originally built in 1538 in a Renaissance style. However, over the centuries the Dom was remodelled in various styles from Baroque to Neo-classical. From the 1940s till 1970s, the Dom was once again subject to remodelling. The largest in Berlin, the domed cathedral measures 115 metres in height and is ornately decorated with gilded ornaments and marble columns.
Amazing Fact: The Dom still contains the originally constructed pipe organ from 1905, which has over 7,000 pipes.
