Once, some birds and some animals lived in the sky. The dog and the hen also lived there. One day, it was very cold and rainy in the sky. So, to make the sky warm, the birds asked the dog to go to the Earth and bring some fire. The dog went to a man’s house and saw many bones near the house. He began eating them forgetting all about the birds and the fire. He decided to live with the man. The birds waited for the dog, but he did not return. So, they sent the hen on the Earth to bring some fire. Now, when the hen came down, she saw some seeds near the man’s house. She liked the seeds and started eating them. She, too, forgot about the fire. Now, the hen also started living with the man. That’s why the birds and the animals do not like the dog and the hen. And that is why they became domestic animals.
