Jane and her mother went to a secondhand furniture store to buy a study table. There, Jane casually opened a drawer of an old table and found an envelope with some money. ‘It’s somebody’s secret stuff. With this, I can buy myself a bicycle, stationery, dresses…,’ Jane thought. She quickly slipped the money back into the drawer and bought that table. When Jane reached home, she quickly opened the envelope and found a paper along with the money. It was a letter of an old lady who was saving money for her family. Then, Jane thought, ‘This money is not for me. The old lady must have passed away and nobody would have known about the money. The family would have sold it to the secondhand furniture store.’ Then, Jane called her parents and said, “Let’s take it back to the store and find the old lady’s family.” Her parents praised her for her honesty.
