Ehud the Left-Handed

King Eglon of Moab was known for his atrocities, he imposed huge taxes on the people of Israel. He was a fat king, who pampered himself with rich feast that was cooked for him from the taxes collected from the poor people. This process went on for eighteen long years, and the people of Israel wanted to get over the situation. It was then God choose the left-hander Ehud, a tribe member of Benjamin. Ehud worked on a unique idea, where he had planned to kill the King, and free the people of Israel. He collected the taxes along with the group and went to hand over the taxes to the King himself. As he was left-handed, he knew he could place the dagger onto the right side. This saved him from being checked by the security guards. He approached the King and said he had a secret to share, and asked him to send his servants outside. Once done, he killed the King and rushed back to his camp to ask his people to attack the Kingdom.
