At the banks of River Jordon, it got divided into parts and made way for both the men to walk to the other side. At last he asked Elijah as to what he would like to be done, before he left for Heaven. He asked for a spirit which were like that of Elijah, and also wanted God to bless him. He told Elisha if they were separated then it would surely happen. Then suddenly, a fire came from heaven and a chariot with a horseman took away Elijah. He was in grief as his master had already left him. Soon he found the cloak piece that belonged to Elijah and he tied it around his wrist. Then he walked down to River Jordon and prayed to God. The river was divided into two sides. On the other side of the River, he could see the wicked king, the agony of the people, and other misery. He wasn’t scared of such things as he knew that God was with him.
