Magdalene loved to cook. She learnt new recipes from anyone who could teach her. One day, Magdalene was thrilled to learn to bake a cake from her Aunt Alexia. She was now confident that she could bake a cake, all by herself. One day, Magdalene put together all the ingredients and placed the cake in the oven. ‘I am sure it will be perfect!’ Magdalene thought. Just as she was about to set the timer, the oven stopped working. Magdalene was very sad. Aunt Alexia understood the situation and said, “Even the most difficult challenge can be overcome if one thinks hard enough. Every problem also has a solution.” Then, she put the cake mix in milk and boiled it. It made for a lovely dessert. Magdalene learnt a lesson and another recipe! Now whenever Magdalene landed in a problem, she remembered the words of Aunt Alexia, “Every problem has a solution.”
