The row of soft hairs that exists in the front portion of eyelids is called eyelashes. The function of the eyelashes is to protect the eyes from the direct hit of external things, air and insects. The eyes are tender and sensitive. They can also not tolerate direct blow of air. The nature has made eyebrows and eyelashes to safeguard them.
The hairs existed in the eyelashes are mostly very thin and of light colour, which can not be seen easily. The eyebrows of sophisticated persons are of dark colour and clear. Upper eyelashes are folded upwards and lower eyelashes are folded downwards.
The curvature of the eyelashes is the symbol of delicacy, simplicity, love for beauty and amorousness. If the eyelashes are straight, the person is rough, emotionless and insystematic by nature. If the eyelashes are sparse and their colour is light, the person is delicate, tender and weak. Such persons could be drug-addicted.
The persons having small and dense eyelashes are of good communication skill and hard hearted. They are rough by behaviour. Such persons are dull. They annoy the persons who come into their contact by their harsh words and ill behaviour.
The eyelashes contained with long, dense and curved hairs and giving mind blowing attractive beautiful feature, are supposed to be ideal eyelashes, which represent the delicacy, love for art, jolliness and balanced personality of the persons.
The absence of eyelashes in eyelid is an indication of any serious disease or hormonal disbalance, which points out any extraordinary change incurred in the health and nature of the person.
