False killer whales are huge growing 5-6 metres long and weighing 1200-2200 kg. Its slender body is black with a grey neck, has an elongated tapered head, a sickle-shaped dorsal fin and short pointed flippers. They travel in groups of 10-20 and are co-operative hunters, sharing the prey. They eat squid, tuna, mahimahi, threadfin jack and broadbill swordfish.
