Once, Rajguru and Bhanu were having an argument when Bhanu said it was easy to find faults with others but very difficult to improve on them which the former declined.
Tenali heard the entire argument. That day, a painter came to the court and gifted the king with a beautiful picture of a lady in which everyone present in the court pointed out some mistakes.
Then Tenali said that the painting should be hung in the village and all those who found mistakes could mark it. After a few days the painting was a mess.
Then Tenali said that now those who marked the mistakes should correct them. There-upon none could muster the courage to do so. Then Tenali said in the court that it was certainly easy to find faults but when one had to correct them, it’s tough. Bhanu understood Tenali was supporting him and Rajguru understood his fault.
