This blue fish with neon-like reflections lives in lagoons and offshore coral reefs. It is an aggressive and territorial fish. It stays in the same colony for up to 2 years and can grow up to 8 cm in length. They pair up to breed. Feeding on zooplankton and phytoplankton they live up to 10 years.
