There were two brothers. Their parents wanted them to settle down but they refused. They wanted to become ascetics. When their parents heard this, they suggested that they would all become ascetics. Once decided, they renounced the world and started living in the mountains. One day, the elder brother told the younger brother to bring ripe fruit for their parents. But the younger son brought unripe fruit which made the elder son angry. He dismissed the younger brother. So, the brother went away. He met the king and helped him to defeat his enemies with his magical powers. The younger brother asked the king to help him get his brother’s forgiveness. They went to the hermitage. The younger brother begged his brother’s forgive-ness. His brother forgave him and they all lived happily together.
