Friends

The Bunny family had just moved into a new home. Little Bunny did not know anyone there. He had no friends but he wanted to make some. Father suggested, “Why don’t you go out and find some friends?” So, off went Little Bunny to explore. Soon he heard some voices near by. He saw a mouse, a duck and a squirrel building a den. After making the den, they stood back to look at their work. “It is a good den but it would be better if it had a burrow in it,” said the squirrel. Little Bunny came out and said, “I will make a burrow.” The others were surprised but let him do so. So Bunny quickly made a little burrow inside the den. Everyone was happy. Now, there would be no danger from the lion. Soon, they were all playing together. Bunny had found friends.
