Myra and Louise were best friends. They were inseparable. They always went to school together, played together and studied together. If Myra was somewhere, you could be sure that Louise was near by and the other way around. So, it came as a shock when the two were seen fighting one day. Louise tripped on one of Myra’s toys and it broke. Louise was hurt, but instead of rushing to her aid, Myra began accusing Louise of breaking her toy. A fight ensued and the girls had decided not to talk to each other. Things would have got even uglier had Myra’s mother not heard them. She advised, “Toys will break and you can mend them or even get new ones, but friendship cannot be bought and is difficult to be repaired.” Myra and Louise understood this. They forgot all their differences and hugged each other. They never fought over trivial issues again.
