Fun at Beach

Patricia was a fun-loving girl. She never missed an opportunity to go out and have fun. She enjoyed going out on family picnics. Patricia was sad. She had just recovered from a nasty sickness and so had to miss her school picnic. She was looking for the next opportunity when she could go on a picnic. Her parents, however, had a surprise for her. She had a visit from her Uncle John, Aunt Linda and her cousins Julia and Cecelia. The two families piled into a wagon and set out for the beach. At the beach, her uncle and cousins played volleyball with Patricia. The children then went surf-boarding. At lunch, Patricia wolfed down homemade tuna sandwiches by her mother, while Aunt Linda had baked an apple pie, especially for her. ‘Well, missing the picnic was not bad after all,’ thought Patricia at the end of the day.
