Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoyevsky was born on the 11th of November 1821 in Moscow, Russian Empire, and passed away on the 9th of February 1881.

A Russian novelist, Dostoyevsky was a philosopher and writer who dealt with the subject of human psychology in the political, social and economic atmosphere of a very troubled 19th century Russia. Some of his renowned works include ‘Crime and Punishment’, ‘The Idiot’ and ‘The Brothers Karamazov’.
