You will need:
- Wide-mouthed small bottle
- Hot water
- Splinter
The next time someone has a splinter stuck in his hand or foot, amaze your friend with this simple experiment to remove it effortlessly.
INSTRUCTIONS
- To try and remove a splinter, do not force it.
- Fill a wide-mouthed small bottle with hot water almost till the brim.
- Gently place the mouth of the bottle filled with hot water around the splinter.
- Put a bit of force onto the bottle so that it may be held firmly.
- The splinter will gradually be drawn out.
RESULT
The splinter that is wedged inside your skin will be drawn out by the hot water. This is because the hot water in the bottle creates a sort of suction pulling on the flesh of your skin. At the same time, the steam from the hot water gradually draws the splinter out.
