Max and Jake were playing in the park. Soon, they jumped into a great hollow in an oak and landed in another land with huge houses, trees and fields. Just then, they were violently grabbed by two huge, smelly hands and flung into a dark tunnel. The boys rolled down in evil-smelling pitch darkness. Once they regained their balance, they groped around and bumped into a little girl. “Where are we?” shouted Max. “We are in a giant’s stomach,” shouted the girl. Jake remembered his little pen knife. He pulled it out and started carving a hole in the walls of the tunnel. The giant howled in pain as his stomach was cut. He shuddered and the children were tossed around wildly. Jake bravely kept cutting till the hole was large enough. All the children jumped out. Meanwhile, the giant had fainted. The children quickly found the tree with the hollow and jumped back into their own land and their own park.
