Known as Clochán an Aifir, the Giant’s Causeway is an area in Ireland, the United Kingdom. The Giant’s Causeway is named such because of the legends they come from; according to which the large basalt interlocked columns were the remains of a causeway used by Giants. With around 40,000 tall interlocked basalt columns, these columns tops are stepping stones that lead from the cliff-foot going underwater into the sea.
