The Glass Beach is a beach situated in the MacKerricher State Park, in California, USA. The Glass Beach is a result of being used as a water dumpsite for almost 6 decades, of ‘garbage’ being dumped in an area of the coastline that is in the northern part of town. From 1906 until 1967, three sites were used for discarding glass, appliances, vehicles and other garbage. However, after 1967, the site was closed and most of the unrecyclable trash was removed, sold as trash or used as art.
