Goats eat grass, grams, plants and bushy thorns.

Goats are herd animals and become depressed if kept alone.

A baby goat is called a ‘kid’. A goat’s kid likes to snuggle.

The sound of a goat is called a ‘bleat’. Each kid has a unique call by

which its mother recognises it.

Goats are very useful animals. She-goats give milk.

Their milk is very nutritious.

Cashmere, the most famous wool, comes from Kashmir goats.
