The Godafoss Waterfall is one of the most breathtaking waterfalls located in the Bárdardalur district, in North-central Iceland. Godafoss means ‘Waterfalls of the Gods’ in Icelandic. And true to its name, the waterfall ‘falls’ from a height of 12 metres. The waterfall is on a glacial river and falls over a width of 30 metres. The stunning rock formations created a around the waterfall create a breathtaking view. The waterfall and the area surrounding it are believed to be some of the greatest natural wonders of Iceland.
