The Grand Kremlin Palace was built in Kremlin, in the heart of Moscow, Russia, between 1837 and 1849. Formerly, the tsar’s Moscow residence, the Grand Kremlin Palace, was constructed by destroying the Baroque palace and Church of St. John the Baptist. A symbol of Russian aristocracy, the Grand Kremlin Palace contains 5 reception halls that are used for various purposes, and is presently the official residence of the President of the Russian Federation.
