Today there is great demand of graphics in various fields like commercial advertising, advertisement agencies, news papers, magazines, government and commercial publications, etc., Sketching, painting, drawing, display, designing, etc are the work of a commercial artist. Generally artist after getting training in advertisement agencies, film studios, T.V. centres, photography studio, publication houses are appointed on high salaries. In the field of Graphic designing, Apeejay Design Institute is a renowned institution, which offers 2 types of training courses. First type of course is of 4 years duration and for admission in this course minimum eligibility is 10+2. Second course is of 1 year duration and minimum eligibility is graduation from any faculty. Campus interview is also organised for trained people. National School of Advertising also offers a 1 ½ year Diploma Course. After getting training till 6 months, practical training is being given in the corporate sector or in any advertising agency. Application process for this starts in the month of January.
