Gravity Hills

A Gravity Hill, also known as a Magnetic Hill, Mystery Spot or Gravity Road, is a place where the layout of the surrounding land produces an optical illusion, making a slight downhill slope appear to be an uphill slope. Objects and cars, or even a river on the hill, may appear to roll uphill in the defiance of gravity when they are, in fact, flowing downhill. This is purely a natural optical effect caused by the specific layout of hills that obstruct the horizon. There are hundreds of recognised Gravity Hills around the world: Gravity Hill, Pittsburgh; Magnetic Hill, Leh and Tulsishyam, Amreli (Gujarat).
