Great Wall of India

Great-Wall-of-India

The Great Wall of India or the Kumbhalgarh Wall is the second longest continuous wall in the world and is located in Rajsamand, India. Built more than half a millennium ago, the Kumbhalgarh Wall is one of India’s best-kept secrets. Constructed in tandem with the Kumbhalgarh Fort, the Wall was built to protect the Fort and the 300 ancient temples within it. Extending 36 km in length, this continuous Wall remains a mystery, snaking through valleys and mountaintops, bearing a striking resemblance to the Great Wall of China. The wall itself is beautifully constructed with stone bricks and decorative flourishes at the top.
