The grey nurse shark has a pointy head and a bulky grey body with reddish-brown spots. It has three rows of protruding, sharp teeth. It can grow up to 3 metres long. They hunt in groups for bony fishes, crustaceans, squid and other sharks. It exhibits intrauterine cannibalism, where the most developed embryo will feed upon its siblings.
