Lazy Haniel never did anything on time. He got punished at school for not being punctual and completing his work on time. At home, his mother always scolded him for not keeping his room neat, not finishing his homework and waking up late. But none of this had any effect on Haniel. One Sunday morning, Haniel’s parents left to church leaving his breakfast on the table. As usual, Haniel did not wake up on time. Meanwhile, two birds flew through the window onto the table and nibbled at his breakfast. When Haniel did wake up, he saw that the birds had finished his breakfast. He cried, “The birds ate my breakfast!” Haniel had to remain hungry till afternoon as his parents came very late that day. As he was hungry, he couldn’t finish his school project that was due the next day. Haniel learnt a good lesson that day. So from then on he tried never to be lazy again!
