When Bheem saw an old monkey blocking his path, he became very angry. He revealed that he was the son of Kunti and the Wind-god, and the half-brother of the mighty Hanuman. But the old monkey did not budge. He said calmly, “Look! If you want to continue with your journey, then just lift my tail and go away. Who is this Hanuman?” Bheem got more furious. He shouted, “You silly monkey! Don’t you know who Hanuman is? He is the one who crossed the ocean and reached Lanka. He is the one who set the entire Lanka on fire.” Bheem thought of moving the monkey’s tail and crossing the path. He bent down and tried to move the tail with his hand, but it felt like a stone. Then he used both his hands to move the tail, but in vain. Bheem was shocked!
