Fred and Will lived in a village and were best friends. However, soon Will’s family moved to a big city. The boys were very sad to be separated from each other. As time passed, the boys grew up. Fred took care of his father’s farm. Will changed jobs often, travelled to big cities and faced many dangers for many years. At last, he was tired and broke. Then, Will thought of Fred and went back to his village. Fred welcomed him with open arms. Will was amazed to see that Fred had worked hard as a farmer and earned a lot of money. Seeing his surprised friend, Fred said, “Will, you lived at so many places and took up so many jobs but you were never happy. I think you belong to the village. Live here and find happiness in simple pleasures.” Will agreed. He started helping Fred in his farm and was happy.
