Erik Weisz, popularly known as Harry Houdini, was born on the 24th of March 1874 in Budapest, Austria-Hungary, and passed away on the 31st of October 1926.

Do you know that Houdini was the third person, to fly across Australia in 1910? He was quite the aviation aficionado and even learnt to pilot.

Harry Houdini was an escape artist, who performed magic, or illusions and was famous for his stunts and escape acts. He started with escaping from handcuffs, and would challenge police authorities to lock him up. His acts graduated to chains, ropes, straightjackets under water and even being buried alive.
