Ted Bear was out on a morning walk when he read the poster. It said, “The hat making competition will be held on Saturday.” Ted Bear was flustered. He had not made any hat this year. What was he to do? He went home and started thinking of making a new hat. But what kind of hat would it be? ‘I will have a cup of honey tea to give me some inspiration,’ he thought. As Ted was pouring honey from one of his honey barrels into his tea, he suddenly had an idea. He cried, “I could use this barrel to make a hat!” And he did make a hat with the barrel. He won the first prize in the competition too. His picture was published in the newspaper too! Soon, Ted was making honey-barrel hats for everyone. He opened a teaching school after a few years.
