Hatim soon became restless in the land of Bears. He remembered his mission and his promise to the prince of Kharzim. One day, his wife asked him, “What is worrying you, My Lord?” He told her the story of the prince of Kharzim, Husna Bano, her puzzles and his mission to reach the deserts of Hawaida. He said, “I was on a mission, before your father forcefully stopped me here. I must continue my journey or I will never be truly happy.” His wife replied, “I am sad to let you go, but I also understand you must fulfil your promise. I will make the necessary preparation for your journey.” She went to her father and said, “It’s time for Hatim to go. Please give your permission.” The Bear King ordered his guards to escort Hatim safely to the far end. Hatim bade his wife farewell promising to return once his mission was over.
