It has a large, almost hairless body with a grey-coloured skin, a barrel-shaped torso, large mouth and teeth and stubby legs. Their eyes and nostrils are located high on their heads, and they can spend up to 16 hours a day with the rest of their bodies submerged in water. Their diet consists almost entirely of grass and rarely some aquatic animals.
