They have a head length of about 120 cm and body length of 200 cm with long tails and ringed horns. They have sandy brown coats, lighter bellies and white strips over the bridge of their noses. They can have a shoulder height of up to 123 cm, with weight ranging between 80-118 kg. They have an average life span of 10 years.
