Old Thomas decided to give his wealth to an honest man as he was growing old. He told a good friend about this. His friend said, “The next time you give something to someone, look out if the person pays you back in return. If he does, he would be an honest man.” But he didn’t come across any honest person. One day, Thomas fell terribly ill and decided to give some of his wealth to his servants. Among them was a boy, who was very kind at heart. He bought medicines with the money old Thomas had given him. The boy looked after him day and night, and old Thomas was soon in the pink of health. The boy had returned the old man’s money with kindness. Old Thomas leapt with joy as he had finally found an honest person and gave all his wealth to the boy.
