Living in crevices within reef flats and slopes are these honeycomb marked, snake-like fish. Their skins contain toxins produced by algae. They have dorsal fins running their entire length. With wide mouths that open and close, they might look threatening but it is only to let water in for respiration through gills. It feeds on small fish and invertebrates.
