The horseshoe whip snake is slender and grows to a length of 1.5 metres. They are yellow, orange or brown snakes with typical dark horseshoe patterns on their bodies. It lives on land in habitats like Mediterranean shrublands, rocky areas, agricultural and urban areas. Non-venomous and active during the day, their diet is made of rats and birds.
