One day, Sheikh Chilli sat waiting outside while his master was in the court. The master’s wife sent a message that she wanted some money to buy flour. Sheikh tried to convey the message to his master, but the guard stopped him from entering the court. So, Sheikh shouted loudly, for everyone to hear, “Master, your wife needs money to buy the flour.” His master was very angry and yelled at him, “Never disturb me inside the courtroom in future.” After some days, the servant ran to Sheikh outside the courtroom again and cried, “The master’s house is on fire! Send him at once!” But Sheikh remembered how furious the master had been when he had disturbed him earlier. So he waited for the master to come out of the courtroom. He then informed him about the fire. The house was almost destroyed by the time they reached. Sheikh explained, “You told me to disturb you never in the court, master.” The master was speechless.
