Small in size, the entire body of the housefly is covered with tiny hair. These flies are notorious for spreading diseases. Houseflies have only 1 set of wings while the hind pair is extremely small and reduced in size. While the housefly lays about 150-750 eggs in one batch, it can lay about 500 eggs in its lifetime.
