How does a Mobile Phone Work?

Mobile phone is actually a complicated form of radio. When someone dials us, the unique SID (System Identification Code of 5 digit number) is checked on control channel. After such the phone compares SID received and SID programmed into the mobile. Along with SID a registration request is also sent and MTSO keeps track of our phone location in record. On getting such SID and registration request MTSO checks in their database to know which cell we are using and picks out frequency pair which our cell needs to receive such call. About such frequency pair MTSO communicates to the control channel and then finally our phone and tower switch on such frequency pair. Here our call connects and our speech gets converted into electric signals which later modulates to carrier wave and reaches the other person on phone and, we talk on phone.
