How does Pancreas Help?

Pancreas helps in the digestion of the food in the human body as it produces the juice that is prepared by it. Pancreas also controls the blood and sugar level of the human body by producing the hormone named as insulin and glucagon which help to control over the sugar level of the body and are also helpful in storage and usage of the energy that human bodies take such as food, etc. Pancreas is made up of maximum a million of clusters named as Dislets of Langerhans; the main four cells are in the islets. Pancreas is also known as a gland which is 6 inches long and shaped like a pier at its ending part. There is a thick end in the pancreas that is known as head of the pancreas, and the bottom side is known as the body.
