Of the many experiences of my life, the most thrilling experience was when I caught a pick-pocketer in the bus. The bus was running from Anand Vihar to Central Secretariat. When the bus reached ITO, it got overcrowded. Many commuters had blocked the entrance and some were travelling on the foot-board. Suddenly I saw a man putting his hand in the pocket of a passenger. The passenger was unaware of what was happening. I alerted the passenger and also caught the pick-pocketer with the wallet of the passenger. The pick-pocketer struggled to get out of my hold but the other passenger also caught hold of him and did not allow him to get out of the grip. At the terminus of the bus, the culprit was handed over to the police.
