Hatim Tai’s life became a big adventure after he had heard about a princess called Husna Bano. It so happened that the prince of Kharzim had heard about a charitable princess named Husna Bano and fell in love with her after seeing her portrait drawn by one of his artists. He went to her palace to ask her hand for marriage. She told him to solve a puzzle, “What I once saw, I long for a second time.” If he was successful, she would ask him to solve six more puzzles and then only she would agree to marry him. Heartbroken, tired and hungry the prince met Hatim Tai and narrated his tale to him. Hatim Tai had no idea of what the saying meant and what the remaining puzzles would be, but seeing the predicament of the prince, he promised to help him. He then unknowingly embarked on a journey of mystery and adventure.
