Hvítserkur is a 15-metre tall basalt stack just off the eastern shore of the Vatnsnes Peninsula in Northern Ireland. An unusual formation off the shore, Hvítserkur resembles a dragon drinking water, because of the two large gaps at the bottom of this monolith. Various species of birds, such as gulls and fulmars, can be seen perched on this rock formation. The monolith receives its name from the guano deposited on the rocks.
